No, Roxy 24’s are DVD & Game rental machines offering a much better service! The machines are positioned across the UK in convenient and accessible locations, such as off licences, convenience stores, universities, leisure centres etc. enabling you to borrow a title from the machine most convenient for you! You don’t need to send off an order and then wait for your titles to arrive in the post! As we all know, watching a DVD or game is a spontaneous decision - you don’t want to wait! In a nut shell, Roxy 24 offers you value for money, spontaneity and convenience!
You have three quick and easy options; join at one of the Roxy 24 vending machines, on this website or at the Roxy 24 info line, using your credit or debit card. Once payment has been accepted you will be asked to choose and enter a 5 digit membership PIN. Please ensure you remember this number, as this, along with your card, will be required at ALL Roxy 24 machines for all future vends and returns. To join at the machine, simply follow the on screen instructions, to join over the telephone, make your selection using the voice prompts, and to join on this website, simply go to the ‘sign up now’ page!
Very little! We offer the most competitive DVD & Game rental in the UK! As a member you can enjoy an unlimited number of titles for as little as £9.99 per month! Alternatively, if you prefer, you can pay just £1.50 for each title you borrow. However, if you are a movie of game buff, joining as a monthly or annual member is much more cost effective for you! Each machine holds up to 750 DVD’s & Games (Xbox/PS2), which are up dated on a regular basis and include new releases.
You can borrow one title at each visit, once you have finished with the title, return it and borrow another!
Yes, not only do we stock new release DVD’s and Games, we also stock a huge selection of titles to cater for every taste, including your favourite classics and oldies!
Absolutely! Most people choose a title based on a review they have read or a trailer they have viewed, we provide both to assist you in making your selection easier! Gone are the days of standing in a rental shop bewildered and wondering which titles to choose from!
We don’t have the overheads of premises and staff etc that the high street rental shops have, which is why we are able to offer such competitive membership options.
If you know the location of one of our Roxy 24 machines, simply go to the machine, select the ‘Existing Members’ page and you will then be asked to insert the credit or debit card you originally used when joining, followed by your 5 digit membership PIN. Once your details have been checked, you can select a category and choose a title! If you don’t know the location of your nearest machine, simply go to the ‘Nearest Roxy’ page to find out!
Yes! As a member you can use ANY machine in the UK, as long as you don’t have a title on loan when you go to use a different machine. As soon as you insert your card, the machine will recognise that you haven’t returned a title, and not permit you to borrow another. Each title is chipped and only recognised by the machine it was borrowed from. No other machine will accept that title.
Silver and Gold Monthly membership allows you to borrow a title for
up to 30 days without incurring any late return fees, and Platinum
Annual membership entitles you to borrow a title for up to 60 days
without incurring any late return fees! If you choose the Bronze membership
where you pay for each title you borrow, you will be charged a later
return fee after 24 hours. If you are generally late in returning a
title, we highly recommend you join one of the monthly or annual membership
options!
Some popular titles will be classified as ‘High
demand titles’ and can be kept for up to 72 hours, without incurring any late return fees. If you return the title after this period, you will then be charged £2.50 for each additional 24 hour period, for a maximum of 10 days. After 10 days that title is deemed as sold to you, and cannot be returned to the machine. Before confirming your selection, you will be advised that the title is a ‘HIGH
DEMAND’ item.
